Private Dining Room
Intimate Gatherings Up to 16 Guests
Tucked behind a sliding barn door on the second floor of The Crab Trap, our Private Dining Room offers a warm, semi-private setting ideal for smaller groups seeking an elevated dining experience. The room is situation on the second floor, accessible from the main upstairs dining room via a sliding barn door - giving your group a sense of privacy while remaining part of the restaurant's atmosphere.
The Private Dining Room comfortably seats up to 16 guests and is perfect for rehearsal dinners, anniversary dinners, birthday celebrations, graduation parties, and intimate family gatherings. Your group will enjoy attentive, dedicated service and may order form our full menu.
Please note: Reservation of the Private dining room does not include exclusive use of the second floor bar, lounge, or restroom areas. A non-refundable room fee may be required depending on scheduling and staffing - our events manager will confirm this during the planning process.

Full Second Floor Buyout
Exclusive Events for Groups Up to 80 - or Up to 100 for Social Events
For larger celebrations, The Crab Trap's entire second floor is available for exclusive private buyout. When you reserve the full second floor, your group has sole access to the main upstairs dining room, the private dining room, the bar and lounge, and the restrooms - the entire second floor is yours!
Full meal service (plated or buffet) accommodates up to 80 seated guests. Social events, cocktail hours, and heavy hors d'oeuvres service accommodates up to 100 guests.
The main dining room provides and elegant setting for seated meal service, while the private dining room transitions into a dedicated buffet setup area for larger events. At the back of the building, the upstairs bar and lounge offers a relaxed, social atmosphere with stunning sunset views overlooking the Amelia River - the perfect backdrop for cocktail hours and post-dinner mingling.
Every full second floor buyout includes event decor to set the scene. Choose from white, cream, or black table linens paired with marine blue napkins, finished with your choice of silver or gold accents. Both plated meals with pre-orders and buffet-style service are available depending on your group's preferences, along with full bar service for your guests.
